Words of Wisdom

“The Greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he
acquires but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively”.
Bob Marley

“Walk with The Dreamers, The Believers, The
Courageous, The Cheerful, The Planners, The Doers, The Successful People with
their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground. Let their spirit ignite a fire within you to leave this world better than when you found it”.

Artistic with a cupcake?!

What would you do with 10.000 cupcakes? The Crumbs and Doilies from London teamed up and created a mosaic existing out of 10.000 cupcakes for a Japanese TV-show. And apparently this isn’t even a new idea. Back in 2008, a buffalo resident created a 1240 cupcakes mosaic for the now President Obama.

You might want to get your baking gear together and join the cupcake baking, mosaic making movement!

We Love to complain about the weather! Right now it is too cold and raining, and in four weeks from now it will be too warm and too humid. Luckily we live in The City and there will be plenty of roof top swimming pools, outdoor swimming pools, and outdoor events that we can join.

Fashion Or Safety?

Would you ride your bike through New York City with a helmet? Probably not, and who would blame you, since a helmet is not a fashionably responsible thing to wear!
However,  every year 51,000 people are injured due to bicycle accidents. Yes, this makes you reconsider that fashion statement right. If this is the only reason you don’t wear a helmet, Hoviding might change your life with their bright idea.

Hovding is a Swedish company, which has created an invisible helmet. This fashion accessory is actually a collar which inflates to a helmet, once the sensor detects unusual movement.

Below a short clip of how the helmet works:

From Ipad to Imac

Japanese Macotakara introduced us to the “NoteBook Case” for iPad, but by “notebook” the website really means a MacBook Pro clone. The case packs a built-in Lithium-polymer battery that allows you to charge the iPad while in use. It also features a USB port, mini USB port, and Bluetooth for the keyboard. The case is available trough Japanese retailer Rakuten for 5,980 yen (or roughly $75), so it could land in Rakuten’s United States-based Buy.com in the near future. It is made specifically for iPad 2, but most cases should work with the third-gen iPad due to the tablets’ small difference in thickness.

Flying people in New York City

Isn’t this funny? Three airplanes looking like human bodies were flying above New York City. Everybody thought that it were real people flying above New York City. The marketing team behind the movie ‘Chronicle’ built three planes in the shape of human beings and flew them around New York City to create the illusion of the Superheroes of the movie ‘Chronicle’. This marketing strategy is one of the best I think because I would rather watch this than a trailer on TV.

The Erascan

One of the great ways to have creative meetings is by using the Mind Mapping technique on a whiteboard. The only thing is, after the meeting you have a whiteboard full of ideas that you will need to re-write. The Erescan is a wonderful device that can make things a lot easier. Erescan might look like a regular eraser, however with this eraser you will be able to record the writings, diagrams and any other notes made on the whiteboard. While you wipe the whiteboard, the Erescan saves all the information on a built-in memory chip. Later on, you can send all of the data to your email! What a great solution!

iKeyboard for the iPad

A keyboard for your iPad is not a new feature, and you probably already have one. There is one reason you might want to exchange your old keyboard for iKeyboard. Different to other keyboards, iKeyboard is not connected to Bluetooth or attached to your iPad by a dock. The iKeyboard is a light film with depressed keys that is placed on the iPad’s screen, which makes it easier to type and using the touch screen capabilities. Doesn’t it look better?
